While Administrator of the CACVT, Rebecca began networking with the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association and continues to be a member. She feels veterinary management is a key component to proper delivery of the veterinary team.

CACVT:

All of Rebecca's success as a veterinary community liaison has come from her direct affiliation with the Colorado Association of Veterinary Technicians. In 1999 she was hired as the first paid administrator and understands all of the benefits of belonging to, and actively participating in, your state veterinary technician association. She currently sits on the Sunset Review Committee and is considered their association historian.

CVMA:
The Colorado Veterinary Medical Association awarded her Veterinary Technician of the Year Award in 2002. This award is reflective of her professionalism, mentoring and commitment to the veterinary profession.

The past two years, Rebecca has been honored to attend CSU ROLE, freshmen veterinary orientation, as a facilitator. Below, she speaks with a veterinary student while attending CVMA's Student After Party at the Keystone Convention.

In 2004 Rebecca was hired as one of Veterinary Pet Insurance's first Veterinary Field Educators. Now, she is the owner of Red Valley Rose Consulting, LLC. She continues to offer a variety of consulting services. Her passion is being an advocate of the veterinary health care team.
